One has gotta to give this Cafe Scheste 5 stars. Both the view and desserts (assotered chocolate, macaroons, and cakes) are exceptionally great. But this time we didn't try the food.
Excellent place for breakfast! Most staff speak some English. The seating outdoors is lovely with a view of St Isaac's Cathedral, but be warned! It can get quite chilly! Luckily, the restaurant provides warm, colourful blankets on request.
Wonderful place although it was super crowded, the waitress Violetta was very helpful and kind. She was friendly and fast💗 I appreciate such cafes even though the crowdness they know how to deal with it by hiring such waitresses. Hats off for Violetta who made our stay amazing👒
Just opened google maps, saw the rating of the place next to me and entered. Asked if they had traditional Russian food, they had Russian Salad and Stroganov, so I sat. Had a very nice cocktail (homemade berry infusion), the salad and some bread. Salad and bread were great! Had the raw plum and coconut cheese cake for desert, and also had a beer. Paid almost 2000 RUB. Staff spoke English!
The place is wonderful. Excellent service. So well-mannered and polite. The food is good. But the sweets are superb. 😊 P.S. They also have all-gender/unisex restrooms which a huge surprise in Russia.
Probably the most popular restaurant in St. Petersburg. The waiting time is a bit long but worth the wait as there is good food in a good location. It would be perfect to sit by the window on a sunny day!
Great place for romantic breakfasts with a beautiful view of St. Isaac's Cathedral, service was ok. It’s better to book a table in advance, this cafe is a super popular dining spot!
A beautiful and wonderful cafe. They have a beautiful organization, even though it is crowded. The waiter, Leo, served us and helped us choose desserts. The coffee was very delicious. I liked it and recommend it.
A perfect spot with a view of St. Isaac's Cathedral. The menu, the atmosphere, the staff... everything makes this a must-visit.
Eat the food. I feel like whichever you ll choose it will be like happiness in a plate. I choose chicken tagliatelle the other day, it was veeery good with eggplant in it.
